Well Self Wellbeing Hub

Five ways to wellbeing is a concept that was developed by The New Economics Foundation (NEF) in 2008 from an evidence-based report. This report indicated that the five steps in the list below can help everyone’s mental health and wellbeing in everyday life:
- Connect
- Be Active
- Take Notice
- Keep Learning
- Give
All five of these actions are free, easily achievable and can be done by anyone. Well Self Wellbeing wants to support people in finding ways to manage their physical, mental and emotional health & wellbeing, by providing opportunities to connect in the community.
Good mental health means feeling good and functioning well. It means that you will have the resilience to cope better in times that you find difficult. Everyone’s mental health changes overtime because of life events that can cause distress and unhappiness, but sometimes there is no apparent cause.
Our aim is to provide you with the tools to support you in becoming well in yourself.
